The Cassis is our local take on this classic French liqueur. Typically made with neutral spirit and artificial flavourings, ours is crafted with our rye grain spirit as the base and to that we are adding fresh black currants from Torrie Warner’s farm on John Street in Beamsville and Ridgeberry Farms. They steeped for 4 months before straining and filtering off the spirit. We then sweeten it with non-GMO organic cane sugar.
It is fresh and clean with loads of berry aromas and taste. Perfect for your next Kir Royale.
